GP-209 is a 100% active Nonionic silicone polyol block copolymer. GP-209 contains polyoxyethylene(EO) - polyoxypropylene(PO) copolymer blocks and dimethyl silicone polymer blocks which are joined through non-hydrolyzable silicon to carbon bonds. GP-209 exhibits inverse solubility versus temperature characteristics, becoming insoluble in water as temperature is increased to approximately 40° C (104° F). This property suggests use as a defoamer for hot aqueous surfactant solutions. GP-209 contains no functional groups and is chemically inert, and essentially non-toxic. Processing and Safety Guidelines

GP-209 has a very low order of toxicity, but should still be handled with all precautions common to the use of any industrial chemical product. For additional information refer to Safety Data Sheet.


GP-209 is supplied in 5-gallon (40 lbs.) pails, 55-gallon (465 lbs.) drums and 330-gallon (2790 lbs.) totes.  Keep containers tightly sealed. Store below 100° F.
