Description
GP-70-EO is a 50% silicone solids emulsion of an organo-modified silicone polymer. The base silicone contains a combination of alkyl and alkylaryl side chains which help insure good compatibility with both organic cleaners, and with solvent-based paints and coatings. Applications
GP-70-EO is to be used as a mold release agent for the following types of parts:
- Metal Forming and Casting
- Rubber
- Plastic
GP-70-EO is also recommended as a textile lubricant.
Processing and Safety Guidelines
As with any contaminant, it is recommended that GP-70-EO residues should be removed from surfaces prior to painting or bonding for best results. However, if removal is not complete, residue of GP-70-EO will not cause fisheyes, orange peel, or similar effects associated with conventional dimethyl silicones. Packaging/Handling/Storage
GP-70-EO is supplied in 5-gallon (40 lbs.) pails, 55-gallon (440 lbs.) drums and 330-gallon (2640 lbs.) totes. Do not store below 40° F or above 100° F.
